RPSC Assistant Engineer Salary 2024 :
The selected candidates for the RPSC Assistant Engineer (AEN) positions will be entitled to Pay Matrix Level L-14, with a Grade Pay of INR 5400. This pay scale ensures a competitive salary package, reflecting the significant responsibilities and expertise required for the role.
The Approx. In-Hand Salary is 1,12,000 rs/ Month.
RPSC Assistant Engineer Selection Process 2024:
The selection of candidates for the post of RPSC Assistant Engineer will be on the basis of merit of the candidate’s performance in the Examination. The following are the stages of the examination.
Prelims Exam
The Preliminary Examination comprises two objective-type papers: one compulsory and one optional, carrying a maximum of 400 marks. This exam serves as a screening test, and the marks obtained do not count towards the final merit list. Candidates who qualify for the Main examination will be fifteen times the total number of vacancies. If the number of reserved category candidates is insufficient, the Commission may apply relaxed standards to ensure adequate representation.
Mains Exam
The Main examination is a written test consisting of compulsory and optional subjects. Each optional subject has two papers, and the duration for each paper is three hours. Candidates must take all compulsory subjects and one optional subject from a specified list, which includes Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Agricultural Engineering. The papers are conventional in nature, with a focus on depth of knowledge and analytical skills.
Personal Interview
Candidates who meet the minimum qualifying marks in the Main examination are called for a personal interview, which carries 72 marks. The interview assesses character, personality, knowledge of Rajasthani culture, and communication skills. A minimum of 35% marks in each compulsory paper and 40% in aggregate are required to qualify for the interview stage. The interview marks are added to the Main examination scores to determine the final merit list.
Document Verification
Document verification is the final stage of the selection process, where candidates must present original documents to validate their eligibility. This includes educational certificates, proof of age, category certificates, and other relevant documents.
