Uttarakhand UTET Online Form Apply Now :

The Uttarakhand UTET Online Notification 2024 has been released. The Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education (UBSE) conducts the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) as an eligibility test for candidates who wish to teach classes 1-8 in Uttarakhand. The exam will be held on 26th October 2024.

Uttarakhand UTET Eligibility Criteria 2024 :

The UTET Eligibility requirements are specified in terms of the candidate’s age limit, educational qualification, nationality, etc. Check the details of the same in this section.

UTET Educational Qualification :

The UTET exam is mandatory for candidates eyeing for teaching positions in private or public schools of Uttarakhand. To teach children about different subjects, the candidates must have certain educational qualifications and degrees. Mentioned below are the educational qualifications a UTET candidate must have to be eligible for teaching posts in Uttarakhand:

UTET Eligibility for Primary Teachers (Classes 1-5) :

The candidates who wish to teach primary classes must have the following qualifications:

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.) OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed) OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education.)  OR
  • Graduation (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.) OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
  • Shiksha Mitra passed Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), from IGNOU.

UTET Eligibility for Upper Primary Teachers (Classes 6-8) :

Candidates who wish to teach elementary classes must have the following qualifications:

  • Graduation (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in final year of 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./ D.El.Ed.) OR
  • Graduation (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri (Regular)) OR
  • (Graduation (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri (Regular)), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed OR
  • Graduation (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed. (Special Education) OR
  • At least 50% marks either in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)). Provided that minimum percentage of marks in Graduation shall not be applicable to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course prior to the 29th July 2011.

UTET Age Limit

As per the UTET eligibility criteria there is no age limit to appear for the Uttarakhand TET.

Uttarakhand UTET Salary 2024 :

The salary of the candidates appointed to the Uttarakhand PRT post will be in the pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800, with Grade Pay Rs. 4200. The applicants must have qualified for the CTET Exam to be eligible for recruitment as Uttarakhand Primary Teacher.

Uttarakhand UTET Exam Pattern 2024  :

Candidates can opt to appear for either Paper I, Paper II or both, depending upon the teaching post they wish to be eligible for. 

  • Paper I: Primary Teachers (Classes I – V)
  • Paper II: Upper Primary Teachers (Classes VI -VIII).

The applications for  UTET 2024 are to be submitted online within the deadline specified by the authorities.. The steps to submit the UTET Application Form are explained below:

 Visit the UTET website. Click on the link for UTET Online Registration to proceed Enter the basic details and complete the registration.

Step 2: Fill Out the UTET Application Form

Login with the credentials provided during registration. Carefully fill out the Uttarakhand TET application form.

Step 3: Upload the Documents

Upload your Scanned Photograph and Signature in the prescribed format. The candidates can use the Resize Tools to optimize the size of these documents.

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee

Check all the details carefully and make the payments by using the available payment methods such as Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking etc. Submit the form and take a printout of the application form and payment receipt for future references.
